Madame Architect

Madame Architect is an online magazine celebrating the extraordinary women that shape our world, a magazine designed to break the architect’s mold and show young women entering the industry the myriad choices they have in crafting a dynamic, meaningful, and interesting career.

Having conceived of and grown Madame Architect from the very beginning to what it is today, my role touches all aspects of the online destination. I curate all content, from selecting the feature profiles, “Day in the Life” pieces, as well as our NextGen and Expanding the Conversation interviews. I review and edit all essays written for us, including for new monthly contributors for “The Expert”, as well as for our regular contributors for “In Ink”, our reviews, and our City Life column. I still interview and edit the interviews myself, and guide our writers in doing so, as well as handle all social media strategy and curation. I occassionally answer questions we get from our readers, or tap into our advisory groups and editors to answer these questions, for our Ask the Editors column. Finally, I manage our team of seven, mentoring and managing all interviewers and column writers.

I’ve strategized Madame Architect’s partnerships with various other brands and content platforms. Madame Architect has had two partnerships, one with Another Tomorrow on a series of women innovating in sustainability, and with Untapped New York, about the women dedicated to our infrastructure. Most recently, I’ve been organizing “Madame Architect Presents,” Madame Architect’s event series where I interview architects in they designed.
